Fitting Austrani Gen3 High Heeled Boots to Gen8 Woman (foot bend problem)

I am rusty at this and have tried several things. Is there a straightforward and correct way to get these boots to fit Gen8?  I try to manually adjust feet to accomodate the high heels and the boots move with the feet. If I adust the boots, same.  I have tried zero outing the pose of Gen8 and manually first making sure she is flat footed, and also tried applying Austrani foot pose before and after fitting the boots to Gen8.  I am guessing/hoping there is an easy fix I am just missing.
