Bundles with Options

It would be nice if we could have options with our bundles. Sometimes I already have one or two products that are included in a bundle but I would like to buy the bundle for the other three products included. Even though it still may be a good deal, it would be even more worthwhile if there were a some options to choose from to create the bundle package. Kind of like when you buy an game platform from a store and they allow you to choose from some accessories and games.

All I can suggest is opening a Sales support ticket and asking if it would be possible to pay the difference, or a compromise sum, to upgrade from the solo products to the bundle.

I totally agree, there should be a way to create your own bundles and DAZ would only decide the discount. There was a great thread about it here, but I'm afraid it died.

Daz needs to offer the option to "complete a bundle" other stores do this and it lets buyers pay to complete a bundle.

I agree. I wonder whether it would happen soon or not...

Dare I say it, but they'd make a profit by doing this, not a loss. I know I would have bought certain packages, had I been able to deselect one or two of the contents.

Without the option to do so, I can't justify spending the full price, so, Daz loses out.

You're totally right! It applies to most of us, especially students on tight budget that may not be able to afford the membership. If there's a petition for making the bundles available, I want to sign it.

You raise a very good point about students. Software like this must used a good deal by them, these days. Not just those studying CGI, but for non-CGI art.

I never studied art when I was at college, but if I had access to something of Daz Studio's quality, I know I'd have been using it like crazy for things like presentations, since I was doing media. Not to mention, being useful in a number of assignments I was asked to undertake in areas like charities and advertising. Of course, the anatomy bundles would be perfect for medical students to illustrate certain academic points, too.

Thank you, Xenomorphine, I'm glad you feel the same. Actually, I know a couple of students and graduates who use DS frequently for studying purposes. Schools insist on multimedia works these days. I even saw an advertisment of a few universities that required accomplishing their course of DS. And it wasn't for CGI students only.

Even junior high schools demand a freaking lot of presentations and posters nowadays. DS is perfect for this kind of work, but you need various props, morphs and so on to really use it. Freebies are scattered all over the Web, but obtaining them takes a lot of time at least.

To end, DS is becoming very popular among students in Central Europe. They invest a lot of their time into it, but taking into consideration US dollar is not their native currency, they always need to double or triple the costs. Just to show an example, a yearly membership ($70.00) costs 1/10 of a decent Polish salary. I converted the national average salary for June 2013 from Polish zloty to US dollar. I used Oanda.com and 3808.63 PLN makes $120.412. That's why there are Central Europeans on DAZ forums, but I doubt many of them can freely afford the membership.
