How do I lock this horse harness in place so I can move the horse and the harness stays with the horse?? Thanks in advance...Trish

I'm assuming it's a conforming harness -- right-click on it and choose "Fit to", and select the Horse as the figure to fit it to.

When I do that it falls apart like this....Its the vintage sleigh harness and the mil. horse.....Trying to use it with the overland stage...unless you know of another harness that works better

I'll surf some of the member's forum- I seem to recall that issue coming up before. If I find something I'll let you know. I know we were all discussing the reins and someone did a great job of getting fluidity into those. The harness may be the same principle :)

From november 2006 in the old forums
This is what I'm finding- the person says "these have harnesses that will fit that horse"
    Royal Carriages http://www.daz3d.com/i/shop/itemdetails/?item=2413
Vintage Sleigh http://www.daz3d.com/i/shop/itemdetails/?item=3908 (which you have)

also gave a link to http://www.3dxtra.net/ which shows a harness. Didn't read it though.

That's all I can find doing a Google search

If you're using DS, try adding a Smoothing Modifier to the harness.

If that Is Horse 2 and not Mil Horse that could be the reason. I see only Mil Horse and some morphs supported in the INFO.

    2 404's and 1 'not found'.

Links to the store items from the archives are not valid anymore.

Thank you for trying to help with this I think I will try to download the free one at renderosity....maybe we can talk someone into making a new one???

  • edited December 1969

This one at http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/details.php?item_id=64212 fits the Millennium horse fairly well, but has no reins. The harness from Royal Carriages won't conform for me and no matter what I do I can't make it fit...

Like fix-Mike said, try with smoothing.

    1. Right-click on it and choose “Fit to”,
    2. In your "Scene" tab, choose the object and click on the small arrow with 3 lines symbol. Then: Edit -> Geometry -> Apply smoothing modifier.

    3. In your "Parameters" tab. Go to mesh smoothing and play with the smoothing and collision sliders.

    Hope that helps!
I wouldn't be able to use clothing without those settings!
