Export fbx shows up broken

I'm new to Daz and I'm trying to export a character to Maya. When I export it out this is what appears in Maya.

The image looks broken. The clothing doesn't go on it and the eyes don't appear.
Any pointers?

What settings are you using? The eyes ar a lack of transparency on the Eye Moisture and Cornea (I think) surfaces, FBX doesn't really carry material settings usefully. I think you need to choose the option to merge conformer skeletons into the base to get the clothing working.

Is there another format I shoudl use?
The button reading FBX 2012 - Binary can be clicked to bring up different flavours of FBX - I've no idea which is best, or if they will make a difference. I suspect you do want to check Merge Clothing into Figure Skeleton.
