Never more frustrated with Genesis and DSON and Poser

OK, I thought that I'd give V5 a try with Poser Pro 2014. Purchased the Genesis and DSON to install into Poser Pro 2014. I THINK that it is all installed according to DAZ3DIM. I open Poser and I can't find Genesis or V5 anywhere. WHAT AM I MISSING?! I've spent over an hour searching FAQ's and forums and I'm more confused than ever!

    Did you install the "DSON Importer" to the PoserPro2014 application folder, and "Genesis Starter Essentials" and "Genesis Starter Essentials PoserCF" to an external runtime?

    Yeah, I installed it. What I found out was that Daz sets up its own Runtime under my user directory. Once I loaded that runtime, it all worked. But oh so slowly.
