Project Hairy 456

Project Hairy 456 for Daz Studio [ https://www.daz3d.com/project-hairy-456-for-daz-studio ] is turning my characters invisible. I load a base G2M character. Then when I apply any of the packages, the entire character goes away jus leaving the hair in place. Am I doing something wrong or is there a problem with the package?

Sounds like the day for invisible things. I've got a totally unrelated but same problem. Invisible items in the scene.

  • You need to apply and then select the GeoShell, which puts a shell around the outside of the figure - once the materials are applied that will be mostly invisible with just the hairs overlaying the body.

So I need two figures with one sitting on top of the other to create one figure?

Not quite - the Geometry Shell is a live copy of the original figure, as far as the geometry goes it's like an instance but it can have its own surface settings so as far as resource use goes it's a midpoint. There is a Wearables preset included to add it.
