Hi Everyone.. I'm hooooooooooooooooome :) I'm a good patient... everything went well and I got to come home early. Dr said of all her hysterectomy patients she saw.. only I was going home... So far I feel good.. just a little sore... wow those pain meds work great. I'll be taking it easy the next week or so.. but I think I'm past the rough patches. Just trying to keep from getting a fever now.. Doing a LOT of walking round the house... THANK YOU all for your well wishes.. I think the man upstairs was listening.. winks.. A blessed Christmas to you all... PS... still waiting for more Umbrella renders.. winks... Hugzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz all around!!!

uh.. I must've missed something. Internal surgery sounds painful. Glad you're doing ok with the pain medications. Thanks for posting the quick update.

Good to hear from you Llola, and even better to hear all went well. Just take it easy, lots of time to work on renders but no housework... doesn't sound so bad! ;)

Thank you ... Jaiderail for your birthday wish... I believe it really helped me... Hope your birthday was grand... Jindi for thinking of me.. and yes.. staying home rendering for the next few weeks won't be ALL bad... winks... starionwolf an fixmypcmike for the well wishes (hope to see BOTH of your umbrella renders soon... hint hint)...Trish... yes the pain meds are wonderful... and SimonJM.. glad to be returned... we are lucky to be living in this day and age. I must say medical technology has grown by leaps and bounds since our parents days... an interesting tidbit... they used my own blood mixed with surgical GLUE (yes.. like crazy glue) to seal me up.. so no outside stitches. The blood has my own coagulant in it and that mixed with the glue holds my insision together and lets it heal faster.. AMAZING!!! That's about it for me.. I'm on the mend... now it's time to work on umbrellas... for those of you that want to start on next month (January) renders... we are working with adjectives... as a reminder.. An adjective is a ‘describing’ word used before a noun or noun phrase giving more information about the object…. It may be easier… or maybe harder for some… but that’s the CHALLENGE.. winks... JANUARY = STRIPED. Remember to post your January renders in the January thread... but wait til January... :) I'll post the link as the month gets close to it's end... Hugzzzzzzzzzzzz everyone... MERRY CHRISTMAS... happy rendering!

Let the render go over night, left it going when I went out to go and see my dad, get home and ... the computer had crashed, something like 10 hours rendering gone and it was only 40%-ish done :(
Started it again - keep fingers crossed :)

I'm sorry, what is the current challenge? Create a render using striped umbrellas? I tried to find the description for the current challenge, but I couldn't find it.

December (current) the theme is "Umbrella"
January (next theme) will be "Striped"

No worries, glad I could help. My render, I dreaded coming back in after going out, is still going so no crash yet - though I may want to redo it for a pose and/or lighting tweak!

Finally! I did do the relighting and reposing and it finished over night:

Is posing in a giant martini glass popular these days? It seems to be kinda popular on another art gallery that I visit. Just asking.

    I like the lighting too.

She was quite shaken when I asked her, but she found it stirring to do ... ;)

Also be glad I did not use the alternate title involving cherries ;)

    Thank you ^^
I'm quite surprise myself that DS lighting could manage that kind of lighting
Now I learn something new, 3 lights never enough, I used 5 lights in that scene: sky, sun, bounce, back, and fill light.

Merry Chrismast to all who celeberates ^^

    They took some honey
