Phantom mouse clicking

Since Sunday my computer has had attacks by a phantom who has been touching my screen randomly.  It lasts a few minutes which makes the computer useless.  Before I assume it is a real phantom or something I am going to rule out software or driver issues.

I have uninstalled the driver for the touch screen but it keeps coming back.  It started after I used a different driver for my keyboard and touchpad.  I am trying to update to latest version of Windows but it is slow at updating.

I think it is an issue with touch screen drivers and OS not liking each other.

I am using a bluetooth mouse but it started Sunday when my mouse was left at my Mum's.  I just got the mouse back yesterday when I went to her house to visit and have lunch.

Hi. I can't be certain, but it may be that the Bluetooth mouse is "double tapping"

Both of my bluetooth mice for my Mac and PC  started  creating a "second click" upon the release of the first one.

Example: I click on a content Library item and it loads two copies because  the "release" of the first click caused a second click!!!
I went back to corded USB Mice because this issue made creating editing animations essentially impossible.angry

I contacted HP and told them about the phantom clicking.  Maybe the title is wrong, but it was a touch screen problem not the bluetooth mouse.  Even if the mouse was not connected.  My computer was reset one more time at advice of the HP specialist.  The touch screen seems to be enabled but without the phantom touches and clicks.  I could tell it was the touch screen because where the clicks were was the circle that normally comes with touch screen taps.

Question about after resetting computer which kept the files but uninstalled the programs.  I reinstalled DIM and it thinks that DS is already installed, but with the reset it got uninstalled with everything else.  I "uninstalled" DS, Carrara, and Hexagon via DIM so I can install them.  Is there anything else I need to "uninstall" so it will work properly after the system reset?

  • Plug-ins, and some shaders (mainly the old pw and omnifreaker sets). Some script may place files in the application folder too, which is the determining factor.
