Change installation directory

I don't have enough space in my SSD so I wanted to install content in my D: drive, but when I open install manager it started installing content in C: without asking and when I stop one thing it just continues installing everything else, it's so frustrating. Is there a way to install everyting in a different drive?

Try clicking Clear Queue at the bottom of the window. It would be ehlpful, in these days of SSDs, if DIM asked which drive to use before starting (though you may be able to check Work Offline on launch to adjust settings before it starts working - I'm not sure how this works for first installs). Once you haev DIM open, click the gear icon at top-right to open Preferences, then go to the Installation tab; at the top you have the base paths for 32 and 64 bit software, then the list of content diectories - adjust the software paths if need be, then click the + button at the bottom to add a new content location (enter the name, use the .. to select the folder), finally use the Current button at the bottom to tell DIM to use that path. You will then need to tell DS to use the different path - you can do this by downloading this script http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/file_io/install_manager_config_import/start and dragging it into the DS viewport. You will then want to switch the path used for Connect and for saved files too, in DS got to Edit>Preferences>Content tab>Content Directory Manager, select the paths n C:, and use the edit button to rediect them.
It's too late to help with DS, but if you go to your profile folder (C:/Users/YOU) you can right-click on folders like Documents, select Properties, and click Move in the Location tab to set those to use the D: drive. Most applications (including DS) will then use the moved Docuemnts folder if they are first isntalled after the change.
