unable to save images

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I am unable to save images in to the scene file...all was fine last night and this morning getting error message, funny thing is I can save the files to folders outside Daz. please help

    I'm not sure what you mean - are you talking about renders, or are you talking about applying textures? What is the error message?

    renders.... error message is "Failed to save file"

    Try using File>Save Last Render, does that work?

    Try saving to a different location, not in your render library.

    May be silly, but did you check to make sure that the folder "C:\users\frost\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\Render Library" still exists? And that your C drive isn't running out of space?

    Windows 10, right?

    Open Windows Defender Security Center and check the Virus & Threat Protection. Click on Ransomware protection.

    Either turn off the Controlled Folder Access or whitelist DAZStudio.exe as an application allowed to access the controlled folders.

    Or just save to a different "non-critical folder" as pointed out by the other user.
