installed items return back to Ready to install

I'm on Mac High Sierra. I am not sure why this happen. I once misclicked and deleted My DAZ 3D Library in the Content Directory Manager but I put it back. Moreover, everything in the physical installed items is untouched and DAZ still work fine. Please help!

  • Has the Manifests folder, in the same folder as the default Downloads folder, been cleared by mistake? That's what tells DIM what has been installed.

Thank you Richard. But in the Downloads folder, there are only files beginning with IM000... and there is nothing like Manifests at all. Do I look at the wrong place?

  • If you go to the parent folder, the one that contains the Downloads folder, does it also have a Manifests folder?

I forgot to tell you that the Downloads folder is on the external disk. I use it back and forth between Mac and Windows. It works fine all the time until recently. There has never been such Manifests folder.

  • OK, so you need the default Daz Install Manager folder - in the Mac equivalent of the Public Docuemnts folder - and check the Manifests folder there.

  • Thank you Richard. You mean here, right? I really once deleted them by stupidity. Really didn't know what it meaned by then. Now no way to get them back. But will try to borrow from Windows.

  • Yes, that's the place I was looking for. They dos tore the absolute path to the isntalaltion, so the Windows files (while they would tell DIM the content was installed) would most likely not work correctly for updating or uninstalling.
