Export daz model with textures and pose

Is there away to export a Daz model from genesis 2 or 3 with the pose, clothing and shading retained?

I can import in either, Maya, Blender or 3d Studio Max.  I've tried it each and every way I can think of.  Using an fbx, obj with mtl and nothing works.

When I import it I get the shape but the eyes are white.  The shades of the character like a tan doesn't show.

I asked a similar question but couldn't get an answer.  Please advise, THANK YOU!

For Blender I use the Diffeomorphic Daz Importer v1.3 by Thomas Larsson (http://diffeomorphic.blogspot.com/. Works for G3F and (with a fair few tweaks to materials) you can render nice results in Cycles (and in the future, Eevee!).  Materials are OK by default, certainly eyes aren't white, and you can choose the spangly new Principled BSDF shader.  Transfers the rig if you want to animate.  No reason to think it won't work with G8F but haven't tried that myself.

Also take a look at mcjTeleblender by mcasual.

@andya_b341b7c5f5 Awesome will try it out.

  • I export Daz characters to Cinema 4D. I als get white eyes, as the material convertion doesn't work correct. I assume that the same happens with other applications.
After adjusting the materials (especially transparency) it works quite nice. Be aware that you cannot export HD morphs with FBX.
