Could anyone tell me how to get this sort of "painted" effect...

I haven't kicked the tires of Daz3D Studio, but if it's possible to achieve this, I will. Love the look.

    Looks like uberEnvironment plus a distant light for the shadows, with perhaps an atmospheric effect for the fading in the background or perhaps postwork (postwork on backgrounds is allowed in promos, as long as it doesn't alter the item that is being advertised).

    As this is a Daz Original the probability is that the promo images were done by one of Daz 3D's promo artists, and not by the PA in question.

    It looks like it could be Atmospheric Effects Cameras for DAZ Studio. They're great!
