We will need more information , ie when it occurs, what you are doing at the time etc etc.
aaaaaaand, of course, that line has now gotten purged out of my log. Sigh.
I'm 99% sure it showed up when I was doing an iRay preview on my scene. (I went in to check to see how much memory was being eaten up.)
If it was in preview the RT might mean "real time," which is a type of render Iray does for previews. It's different from the standard Photoreal and Interactive renders which are designed for final output. It's sort of a cross between the two but with other features missing. When you preview you don't get the full dose of Iray.
If the preview doesn't crash, and it's only in preview and not in rendering, I'd just ignore it. These kind of things often come and go with the various releases of both D|S from Daz and Iray from nVidia.
BTW, the feedback log Iray provides regarding memory consumption is not what you likely expect it to be, the textures memory especially. That value seems to be before any internal compression that is taking place. When you think about it, how could 7 gigabytes of textures and geometry fit on a 4GB card?!
Oh, I’m aware of the quirks related to the “texture memory” numbers. It still gives me an idea as to whether I’m close or easily under...
