Turning a plane into an emissive object (ghost light)

I am following a video on youtube to learn how to better light a scene and came across a really good video using planes as ghost lights.......I have an issue though, as he creates his plane he hits scripts in his menu bar and hits emissive.......I don't have scripts at all in my menu bar and I have no clue how to set that up.....as I also have no idea how to turn a plane into an emissive object or ghost light. Can someone please walk me through where I can achieve this please?

There is a product called ghost lights, which uses a script, maybe he referenced that.

It is possible to manually, cant remember exactly, but you set material of your plane to an uber shader, than you make it emmissive but the opacity really low so it’s virtually invisible.
1. Create>New Primitive>Plane. You can fiddle with the size and divisions to see what effect they have and to see what you like best.
2. Apply Iray Emissive shader to plane
3. Adjust Emissive settings of shader on "Surfaces" pane. Turn off "Two Sided light" if you only want light to emmit from one side.
4. Set Opacity to something really low. I use 0.0001
anything with an iray shader can be emissive. Just set the "Emissive Color" to anything other than black ( RGB 0,0,0). You can put maps in the map slot to make things like glowy eye irises, computer screens, cell phone screens, glass toped control panels for starships, things like that.
to get a "Scripts" entry on the menu strip, right click the "emissive" shader in the Content Library and select "Create Custom Action". This will automatically make the "Scripts" menu entry and add "emissive" to the list. You can use this for lots of things. I put the "Fit Control" scripts there because I use them on almost 100% of the clothes.
Some great advice there! Thanks.
Please note to OP that the more faces an object has, like a sphere for example, the longer the render times.
