Problems with Gabi for V5

So almost all the hairs in my library do this ugly distorted mess when applied to the Gabi character. I dont know what could possibly be causing it. And it's always around her eye area.

Yep, this happens with some characters. There are a couple of threads on it that can explain better than I can.
If you're a Platinum Club member there's a thread in the members only forum: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/25074/
And if not (or if anyone else having the same problem isn't a PC member) here's one in the Commons: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/6518/
These threads really helped me when I was having trouble with it, hopefully they'll help you too :)
This is because the Gabi character uses the "Eyelashes Hide Layer" morph, which tricks the hair into trying to conform to the vertices wrong. Whether you loaded Gabi directly from an "Actor" preset or whether you just applied her shape to Genesis (I'm assuming you meant V5 in your original post, not V6), you need to set the Eyelashes Hide Layer slider back down to 0.00. You might have to Show Hidden Properties to find it. If you don't want to dial it down to 0 on Genesis, you can do it on the hair instead. Same thing, Show Hidden Properties, look in the shaping or parameters tab under Actor:Head:Face:Eyes:Universal and dial it down to 0.
Thank you for the replies! I will have to mess with it after my current render is finished. n_n
