Is there a way to combine my runtime folders on my hard drive?

Curious mind wonders why you would want to do that. I keep adding extra runtimes to try and separate my content more logically.

Won't dragging one over to another in Windows explorer view simply merge them for you

Where is your runtime located? As Pam said most people use several runtimes. All you have to do is add that library to DS or Poser, whichever you are using.

I have suddenly acquired a potential interest in this subject, although hopefully it will turn out I don't need to do this. For anybody who does combine them, how would you resolve conflicting file/folder names, should there be any? Can you just rename them without breaking things, or do you have to start modifying files to correct for it, or something else?

Hopefully there will be no conflicts, but I know it does happen. It used to happen a lot more back in the P4 days, but now people are more aware and do give things unique names. Back then I can remember having several files just called "tunic" just as a for instance, and only one runtime to put them in.

However I am one who would much rather have multiple runtimes as I can find things much quicker that way. Want something for a male, right check my M4 runtime (or whatever male figure you are using) etc etc.

The only time I get any problems with my system is when something, hair for example, has multiple fits, so I have a runtime for that as well,
