Hmm that does sound off especially sense a "baby's " head is suppose to be about 1/4 of the whole body ...,I have Amanda and have beenplaying with making her younger/smaller too ,there are a couple of renders in my art thread if you are interested.

You did a fantastic job of that. I love how realistic and super cute your baby is. Nicely done. They should've hired angel_wings to make the Genesis 8 baby.

  • carrie58carrie58 Posts: 3,984

I totally agree that angel_wings has a much better sense of a baby's porportions ,Her Amanda was the one reason I bought the Sixus1 baby.

I think Yuki is very cute. I may use her for the toddler portion.

I don't know if you're still looking for one of these, but the Vanishing Point Stroller 2 is on sale at Rendo as part of their Dazapalooza sale. Only $3.60. I know there's one in the Itsy Bitsy set, but the Vanishing Point one is a more modern 3-wheeler -- although it's not one of those big clunkers like a Gracco or whatever they're called.

The itsy bitsy, and the 3 wheeler both don't have much in the way of restraints.  This is the one I tend to use.... I picked it up for 10 dollars at a random sale on Turbosquid.

Baby is going to slide out and off of most of these, which is an odd omission.

I was checking out turbosquid, and they also have an awesome bike with one of those baby pods on it, and I'd love a double stroller, and a chest (reverse backpack) baby carrier!

Turbosquid's prices are normally too high for me to partake, but like 2 times a year they have a sale...

Nice poses but Owen & Boyd? Are you Boyd of them? laugh

  • Serene NightSerene Night Posts: 17,648

Heh, no way! , I decided to try some of the other men languishing in my runtime who were closer together in height...l however I wish I had used Owen and Boyd.. I found these characters mouths to be somewhat wooden and they did not take expressions well.

Boyd's sunglasses look so merrily 80s! And Owen, you should really be a good role model and wear a helmet, dude. wink

What is it Boyd's belly-button thingy does?

Love this render. Great details and colors :-) Thanks also for the poses !!

Retro is in in the future which is why the guys wear lots of contemporary fashion. Boyd can wear anything and look good so he often takes the fashion risks.

i agree about the helmet, but I don’t think I own any bike helmets. It is fortunate for the boys that there are no police bots or social worker drones around. Or they would be cited. The baby has no helmet either which is a  No-no.

Boyds belly jewelry is a sensor. It gives him a wide range of data and supplements his excellent eyesight  which feeds into the hud in his brain. Both Owen and Boyd and most of the populace have a temple implant with chip slots. It slides out and the boys can insert chips that either give them certain skills or allow them to do certain work related tasks. Most people have one work related/skill chip and one entertainment chip inserted. Boyd however has 4 slots because he’s a brain. Boyd also has a vision sensor on the back of his head which allows for full 360 degree vision.

the chips link Owen and Boyd to some extent allowing Boyd to learn whatever Owen does and vice versa.

Okay, here is the closest to a bike helmet I could find. I had to put it on Owen manually since it distorts when I parented it to his head.

Here's a look at the infant/bike seat. I really liked the model. It almost fits perfectly.

On the topic of new releases for men, here is: Urban Cool for Genesis 8 male by Kaos3d. It includes a scarf, the neckchain earrings, and the funky goggle specs.

This is the skin geoshell from short wet hair product, and with the drops product applied over it, with the shader changed to glass thin clear.

    Hmm, I think you need the "g2m & g2f cycling kit" available from  https://www.wilmapsdigitalcreations.co.uk/view_product.php?id=243   ;

The helmets fit onto g8 head quite well.

Looks oiled, not wet. I have the same product, in some lights it's OK and others not the desired effect. like the real world, iRay can be frustrating to get the effect you want just as wet people don't always look wet in the real world either.

Yeah, it looks oiled. In general unfortunately, wet skin via geoshell tends to change the skin tone and look that way. I thin the only way to combat it may be to design a skin that is already wet, and doesn't involve a coating of geoshell.

This is the new Atlas Suit. It is a detailed well made sci-fi suit with one texture. The armor bits are not removable, so you can't-for example have your figure wear those snazzy pants. The only flaw I see is the belt kinda distorts on Boyd. Overall, I like it.

Boyd & Owen get back to work. This old gas station https://www.daz3d.com/earkhams-zworld-winter-gas-station has the best roof I Could find in my runtime.... I looked at many sets and most quite frankly had dated looking textures, or were lacking detail up there.  Not this set. Perfect place for a sniper... (Well, if you consider there is no more flamable gas in those tanks).

I put the Garage sign from one of the Stonemason sets on top to add some interest.

Interesting! I didn't realize they worked together when Boyd was in his human body. I thought he was always some form of bot when they worked together.
