I tried a different angle for the coffee pour scene I showed you earlier. This is in front of the fireplace in the Classic Apartment. I really like the hanging light scultpure thingamajig.

Here is grandpa wearing the Gruesome Goth outfit. I actually rather like the set without the hoodie. The goggles don't strike me as particularly gothic though. They remind me of swimwear. The texture expansion did not do it for me.

I should mention that Grandpa is a aging millenial and a former goth.

He still has Owen pick him up underwear from Hot Topic. Why can't grandpa have fun?

In his role as resistance leader, he wears all black and typically hides his face. people think he's much younger due to his youthful style of dress and the fact that he is pretty spry.

  • I picked that set up purely for the pants. I really like them.

The pants are really pretty nice... And they have good textures as well.

Here's Hellboy's new hair Top Knot hair  and the beard. I can't stand mustaches so I left it off. Sorry.. Not sorry...cheeky. The hair has size adjustment morphs so the ponytail can lengthen, which is good because at default its barely a ponytail and almost a bit like a combover. I struggled with how best to depict this hair. It looks rather average from the front. The hairs is much more visably interesting from the back. The whisps of the hair/ponytail look great.

This is one of Muscleman's textures for his Maxx swimwear. It looks great!

Grandpa rocks the leather pants! yes They still have Hot Topic and Target in the future, I see. laugh

I agree so much on the Gruesome Goth set. Main reason I got it was those leather pants with pockets. The hoodie probably won't see much use, and I didn't get the other textures. I probably shouldn't be saying this behind the artist's back, but I look at the hoodie, and I can't tell what sort of fabric it's meant to be. Maybe it can be improved with a cotton overlay.

Hmmm, that bikini looks painful to wear.

The hoodie needs some bends and folds to become more realistic.  But the rest of the outfit is worth every penny. Yes grandad rocks his jeans and boots.

Here is a quick screenshot of a few of the lucious food items, available at the Burger Restaurant. Notice they serve the finest Indian spices.   The basket of fries is interesting. We don't do that where I live, so just curious if this is common somewhere? the only thing I wish, would be for a premade tray with all the items nicely arranged. There aren't any napkins, or stuff you might normally see on a fast food tray. And coffee, is a more typcial breakfast item. You more likely would see soda with a burger and fries and some sort of packaging. There are a couple items not featured, a wrapped sandwich and an icecream cone.

That looks like an actual fryer basket, not a serving basket.

Last year for my birthday, I went with some family members to a rather nice restaurant. I got a side of fries served in an adorable little miniature shopping cart.

Nice, uhm, hair. Yes. The hair is what I'm looking at. Nice work! With the, errr, hair.

I think someone has to run RS's Look at me - pose control script on me again...

I thought so too.. .But the fries are sadly not available as a side dish which seems odd.

On the subject of men's outfits, here is dforce City Boy https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-cityboy-outfit-for-genesis-8-males

I actually really like this outfit. It is highly detailed and realistic but I think the name is odd- It is clearly lounge wear. So maybe something like dforce relaxed casual or something.

A friend of mine, did a render with this set and it looked great! So for some reason the promos did not initially grab me. I'm glad I took another look though.

Okay so I picked up the look At Me II. Here you can see before and after, using this tool and a standard male/female couple's pose. I am curious if this could be used as a merchant's resource. It would be helpful for correcting couples poses.

I ate at a place once that gave me my fries in a fake 'deep fryer' basket like that one. However, the burger was served on a small salad plate. It wasn't a fast food restaurant or chain but a full fledged fancy 'Americana' restaurant. I think it was in Florida in the 90s. The best burger & fries I had though was at a restaurant called 'Mama's Kitchen' on US 17 near the Georgia coast. It was between Brunswick and Savannah. Those were the first batter dipped fries I had ever had. At the time I was still a 'Yankee' so many dishes from the Deep South were new to me & I still eat like okra, shrimp, many kinds of batter dipped and fried or deep fried dishes, gits, black-eyed peas. I still make them myself. All good.

As far as the restaurant depicted in that product it reminds me most of a Burger King in a WalMart although many fast food restaurants are very similar.

What a coincidence. Just ate at Burger King. I've Been wanting to try the impossible burger since it was marketted and it was astonishingly good.

I eat a fair amount of vegetarian food, but that burger was impossible to tell it wasn't meat. Most of the time veggie burgers are okay but obviously veggie.  This tasted like the real thing. It is going to be hard not to go back and have another later on in the week.

I like Boyd's sister's addition to you storry. I am currently going through the videos on the YouTube for DAZ 3D animation. I just did the powerpose one & powerpose is better than I remember for expressions.

Where I live, if you go to a restaurant or even a grocer's freezer with stuff labeled as vegetarian it usually isn't. Except for a couple of heavily promoted 'High Tech Fake Meat' companies from California (which I can't even begin to afford) the vegetarian stuff in restaurants and stores has eggs or dairy in it (although I can't afford that either).

I have tried Burger King's vegan burger preceding the one you mention, multiple times, it's main flavouring agent I think is sunflower seed flour and it tastes and looks identical whether bought in USA or in India. It's honestly not better than a simple seitan vegan burger I and many other long time vegan make. Since I can't afford premade meat I cook lots of dried beans (long process - 8 hour soak in water & baking soda following by 2 hours electric pressure cooking with 8 - 10 hours on warm in the pressure cooker still sealed - so yes almost a day to cook 1 pound of dried beans) and I make seitan buy weighing out 32 grams of vital wheat gluten 8 times and mixing about 3 tablespoons of a water, soy sauce, English pub vinegar, and fake hickory smoke liquid and making patties out of it before putting it in the fridge sealed for a hour or two. Then I boil in the electric pressure cooker for 30 minutes on the rice setting and then put it away for the week. I have to admit it is pretty meaty-like in consistency and flavor if much less tough. I just fry each patty during the week on 200F after painting the pan with a teaspoon of vegetable oil. If I were to add the right amounts of hydrogenated vegetable oils/olive oil it'd no doubt be closer to seeming like real burgers. Those two things supply 90% of the protein I get. I've calculated the cheapest way for me to buy protein and the cheapest way per gram of protein is dried beans (lentils have the highest ratio per gram) followed by vital wheat gluten (which has more protein per gram by far than lentils but is also more expensive. After dried beans & vital wheat gluten the cost per gram of protein goes through the roof though.

I will make sure to try that Impossible Burger once it comes to my area at least once.

Thanks for sharing your cooking process.

I eat vegetarian at least half the time. A doctor advised me to do so, and I typically eat  lunch. Breakfast is already close to vegetarian anyway since I tend to eat cereal.

I have eaten the veggie burger prior to this at Burger King  and it is just a Morningstar  patty. I like it okay, but I really like this one.  I don’t typically eat at bk just because of the big portions but if I get this again I’ll cut it in half and have it for lunch two days since it is fairly big. I am ashamed to admit I ate  the whole thing! Impulse control is not my strong suit and it was delicious.

Morningstar? I'm pretty sure that is the brand most prevalent in the WalMart freezers where some of their products weren't 100% vegan. I thought I'd share those 2 cooking things because I've read all kinds of truly wacky things about nutrition that clearly aren't true if even know better than what was being claimed. Plus, it's much, much cheaper by orders of magnitude to cook your own dried beans and make your own seitan from vital wheat gluten (rather than buy canned mock duck - they taste pretty identical because they almost 100% are). I also make fake ice cream out of pre-flavored soy milk that is much better and cheaper than the fake ice cream you can buy at the store. It mostly depends on adding olive oil, agar agar, soy lecithin, corn starch to the soy milk when mixing the fake ice cream in the ice cream maker, it comes out very good and creamy then and doesn't freeze like a hard brick like store bought fake ice cream.

I like vegetarian food but my family doesn’t so I only buy stuff to eat myself. My sibling is mentally impaired and only eats certain things and she and the rest are picky eaters. I am not vegan or vegetarian really but I am fine with reduced animal products.

I like vegetarian ice cream and saw baskin Robbins now has a few... I may pop over sometime to show my support. What a hardship.

Speaking of vegetables here is little Sparkle. She loves helping me in the bean patch and eating the stray bean or carrot. Shes a great farm dog.as she keeps all the squirrels from my plants, and is very much a mommas girl. She follows me wherever I go.

Be careful, I have seen sultry eyes like Sparkle's in my own American Eskimo. You have to watch out, or the treats, and your food will not be safe!

    She is so lovely.
