Here is Winter Dweller. I rather like this one. The outfit has a bohemian chic, and everything looks pretty good. I think the neck of the turtleneck has some slight texture distortion. I'd probably make that a bit smaller, but overall, it looks good. Nice job.

Owen and Boyd at the beach, again.... But, I wanted to test one of my new poses, using the retro-ish style I like.

Really like the filters on that one as it looks like an old magazine page.

More fantasy than reality...but it was fun to make and I was testing out some poses.

I’m glad to hear you like this one, because I’ve really been eyeing it. My only long coat right now is from the Mid-Victorian set, and it’s okay, but certainly not the only one I need.

It is a nice coat. It has a bit of a waist hugger effect going on when truthfully a coat that heavy would not hug the waist but would hang draped, I still like it.

Wait a second, I just noticed that the coat seems to be clipping through his calf. Is this one of those items that doesn’t follow figure posing on the legs?

It's dforce, and does so very well. For once.

With dforce you can expect some clipping or pokethrough. Especially in collision areas. I don't have the file or I'd load it up again, and check it out. But usually you can thicken or move that place to resolve the issue.

Lots & lots of male of female dresses, skirts, coats, kilts, even Anatomical Elements, and such do that in DAZ Land for some reason.

Today's release, Beautiful Romance Poses For G8M and G8F feature Samesex couples. There are 11 poses for Women... and 4 for the guys. The Female ones are noticibly more intimate, and the men's poses are much more... of The friendship variety. Still, it is nice to see a set like this, even if the guys get so few poses.

You can of course genderbend the female poses as I did in the second screenshot.

Here is Gaius HD for Genesis 8 Male. I must confess, I really love him. You get a lot of options with him, plus I love his skin. He comes with tats, makeup, eye options, scalp options, and his own brows and stubble. There are colors for those as well. He looks great as a warrior, or the guy next door... Whatever you like. I particularly love his tiger tats.

This is a nice product. The SC20 drone. I really like this, and it is definitly a consideration for future Boyd Bot images. It has tons of features, from hatchs, and panels which open,  to a bay which will drop glow sticks, to a very cool missle with smoke trail.

It has some emissive laser, and light features which quite honestly I can't see Very well. If anyone has the bot, and can get those to work, I would be curious to see how they look, they seem barely there to me.

The second image, I colored the bot/drone's beams with some emissive shaders for its scanners so you can see what they look like. I can barely see anything with them off.

The only feature I would like is if the bot had some emissive panels on the front. The panels are textured with the body, so you can't recolor say the glass, to make an light up panel or lcd. I think it would help to add interest to the front of the bot and light it up in darker images.

Overall, though this is great. Very nice bot, and lots of detail  added.

Your right, being able to set individual LEDs on or off on that sphere would of been cool.

By the way, your Boyd, Owen & Baby Rosie poses where so easy to use I hardly had to make any adjustments even though I didn't use baby Rosie but Baby Tobyn & Babyfication for Tobyn & Caryn.

I was looking for a box to package my character's store-bought pumpkin pie. (a freebie at rendo)  https://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/pumpkin-pie/80447

If you Own Maclean's everday fruit https://www.daz3d.com/everyday-fruit she graciously provided a few clear boxes which can be repurposed to hold your pie. The label can be altered easily with different text as I did here

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Looks like Owen and Boyd Bought their food readymade this year. I wanted to put some plastic wrap over the turkey and that took a while. I ended up dfrorcing a primative, coloring it with plastic shaders, and draping it over the turkey. It hung over the side slightly, hence the egg carton obscuring the ugly fringe. I did try dforcing a garbage bag over the turkey but it exploded, and I ran out of ideas on how to package a turkey and still have it visible. It is fortunate they have that pumpkin pie in a plastic box. I still would not be too keen on it down there, but, I wanted it to be visible and the turkey took up most of the cart.

Looks good but I will spare the lifeguard and wear a regular swim laps speedo at the pool. laugh I can't wait really. Our lap pool locally was closed for 4 years. This Monday I am finally signing up for the pool again because they've repaired it & I can finally swim again!

    Another Thanksgiving image!

I had to dforce two little towels to make some makeshift kitchen mits.

I would've put some vegetables in the roasting pan, but the vegetables I have aren't peeled. I figure that would look kinda strange.

Jacket potatoes could be nice with Roast Turkey

Mittens would work as oven gloves too if you changed to pattern to chickens or flowers or whatnot.

  • Serene NightSerene Night Posts: 17,649

if you see mittens let me know. I seem to only have gloves.  I like the idea of the potatoes. I may see if I can use one of the other sets like diner food and place potatoes in the pan next time.

I haven't seen mittens anywhere. Not here, not Rendo, not Hivewire, not even ShareCG or Rendo's free stuff. They just don't exist, I think.

On the subject of Women's wear for Men, the https://www.daz3d.com/x-fashion-warm-winter-jacket-for-genesis-8-females  Plus it is on sale for 2.99

It looks pretty good, although, maybe my color choices weren't the best.wink This would be good for kitbashing. The coat opens up at the neckline, but nothing is underneath. The only wish I had is that I could make it longer, and bulkier. I did use the long morph but it sits high. Pants and shoes are from another set.
