Grouping but not what you think.

Hi Everyone,
Is there a way to group similar library components? For instance: P3DA has some lo-rez stuff and are found in Figures, Poses, and Props. It's time consuming although manageable to hunt through the hundreds (thousand maybe) and going back and forth in putting in new characters, morphing, clothing, posing, and mapping with each item. I'm doing it, I was hoping for a better way so that I could pull up P3DA and have figures, poses, and props inside a single group.
Thanks,
Randy

That's the sort of thing the Content Management System and Samrt Content are designed for - you could, for example, add a tag "Lo-Res" to all of the items and then they would show in a Smart Content search (tags are added, and can be set as filters, in the lower section of the Smart Content pane's Files tab). You could also right-click on the items or folders in the Content Library pane and choose Categorise, then add them to a Lo-Res>Something catrgory. You ca use Smart Content to filter by selection to show only compatible items - load the item, and drag the add-ons [poses or materials across from the Content Library to the desired category in Samrt Content to set the relationship
Thanks, that might be exactly what I need! :)

Thank you, Chohole. I'll read up on it. It seems no matter how long I've been using Daz Studio I still have so much more to learn. :)
