Just a quick question for those that know the software and the community, Does Vue ever go on sale?

My experience with eon has been that the software (and modules) go on sale at the time of a new release. From time to time there are specials on some of the modules, like buy one get one free but it is not a regular thing.

There are basically two ways to buy Vue, all-at-once or incrementally.

Personally, I like the incremental approach. I purchased Vue 7 Esprit that way and purchased modules to Studio +1. I never felt like I needed the Export module for the work I do. That is one of the more expensive modules so by not purchasing it I saved a little money. I purchased the modules as I needed them and got a few of them for a good price. All-in-all I feel that I got good value with that approach.

I later upgraded to Vue 8 by only getting the upgrades for the modules, again at a small savings.

Vue is very nice, it goes well with DS although models had to be "imported" via .obj files.

I never regretted purchasing it except for a few rough spots with render cows breaking between (free) updates.

I am now also looking at 11, but 12 could be on the way, don't know for sure.

Sorry I'm new and I've found it difficult to "nail down" exactly what this is, in my mind's eye. I've seen it mentioned here and there in the DAZ store, but there are never any explanatory hyper-links.

I seem to remember liking the renders of blowing snow scenes, and stuff.

Thank you Charles for the info.

Roman, Vue is just another 3D landscape and scene program much like DAZ Studio. And DAZ models can work in Vue.

DAZ sell products for Vue here in the store, including Vue 11 Frontier.

But if you want to get the more robust versions of Vue you can only get them through Eon and they're fairly expensive.

Yeah I am building up to Complete module by module and when I reach Complete I will subscribe and pay each month for updates which will save me half the cost of upgrading.
