went for my 1st shot today. feel like i should treat myself to some candy. where can an american girl find malteasers?
any Woolies or Coles
yumma
malteasers and mars bars = happiness
i forgot to consolidate duplicate shaders on my scene inventory.
is it worth it to go back and do it and ressave everything?
sometimes i wonder if is worth it to move the hot point to the bottom, tipping point should be at the botto.
would be kewl if everything had a special hotspot tipping point.
need you Wendy!!
i'se helpless with the ds plugin usages is a baleful icon on my desktop, snearing.
cant remember nuthin
why did that genX tool stop at genesis 2?
want Wendy!!!
It didn't. It stopped at Genesis 3.
GenX2 addon for Genesis 3
It never made it to 8 before the author passed away
A - It is for me. I use Batch Queue to render multiple jobs while I'm away from my computer. Two or more shaders with the same texture maps cause the render engine to load the same maps that many more times. I was always afraid to before, but I've finally set my preferences to Consolidate on Load, which helps. But I still find myself consolidating anyway - force of habit.
B - The Hotpoint IS the tipping point, if I'm understanding your meaning of a Tipping Point (?)
However, if you want the hotpoint on the floor, there's a really easy way to do it without having to move the hotpoint:
The target helper comes in on the floor, so its hotpoint is there as well!
Forum web keeps acting up causing double posts!
oh noo.
was just wondering if it could be used to make an aiko3 clothes clone.

Well there was also a Generation 3 addon made, and Aiko3/Hiro3 addon can be purchased separately, if you wish.
But although that product contains a clone for its own purposes, I'm not sure if that would work as an auto-fit clone for A3 clothes the way Gen3 Iconic Shapes does, which works amazingly well!
I have a quite a bit of info on the subject i my Genesis 1 Rocks! article
Sometimes I misinterpret what you're asking.
If you were instead asking how to get Aiko 3 clothes onto Genesis 3, I would use the same workflow as depicted in my Content Generations Conversion article as follows:
Using the article as a guide (to save a bunch of typing here) I'd:
We used to say our car needs some work. Like lift the radiator cap and drive a new one under it. I did that today, a six year old car was having some minor hiccups, some of which I had fixed a year back but were recurring. Here in Texas, you need a car to be reliable, there is almost no mass transit. Old car: Red Honda Fit, great car for six years, headed to charity, probably Public Broadcasting Service. New car: Red Honda Fit, possibly last of the model. New wrinkle, delivered to my house.
sigh, my carrara busy rendering 360 frames. traipsing around the grounds of byodo in.
was thinking it would be great for an emperor's palace. dragons sunning themselves on the lawn. some lanterns for a night scene. a helipad.
12 hours, up to frame 136
I feel your pain.
I set up initial animation and run a simulation, then finish the animation to work with the simulation, then simulate again, then add a bunch of secondary animations and simulate a final time before setting up lights. Then I nail down my camera angles and adjust the camera settings, set the sequence name and give it a folder, and then wait for it to finish rendering before starting it all over again with a fresh scene.
I mean, it's not like the renders take 'too' long, but it's still hours that I can't play anymore! LOL!!!
up to frame 308. woo hoo
meanwhile, browsing
a possible candidate for a next aiko3 https://www.daz3d.com/flora-for-rynne-8
Lara rocks as an Aiko 3-esque kinda girl too. I love this character!
she is cute.
i bought her. and a ye old library for her to putter among the tomes
This is my Lara-Based Rosie 8 - more of an Action Figure!
I did a comparison of several generations of Aiko or The Girl. I need to track it down. Confirmed Misty's point about the decline in cuteness over time, which in my opinion defeats the purpose of Aiko. Lara and Flora are good suggestions to fill that niche. Thanks.
there a hole in my heart can only be fillled by Aiko cuteness
A hole in heart left by wendy's absence
Crowd of Aiko
.
Aiko 3 with The Freak (3)
I'd like to see that too.
I have noticed for several generations now that it seems they're making Aiko more and more 'realistic' like, and less and less Anime/Manga like, but if memory serves she never really was much of a cutie pie until other character artists got a hold of her, like Thorne really comes to mind - but there certainly were others.
Here's the promo image of the original Aiko, as far as I know
The Girl, on the other hand, was an adorable, sexy stylized knockout right from the start, which was (if I'm not mistaken) a third generation stand-alone figure
its transfixing to watch her hair movie. beautiful!
