Older versions of DIM should not connect to thes tore at all, they shoudl just trigger an update request - that's because both stroe and DIM need to be working to the same protocols. What you can do is manually download the zip (not "Download and Install"), place that in the Downloads folder, and launch the older version of DIM in Work Offline mode to install - though even there I should think there's a risk of a change to teh .dsx manifest files causing issues.

Well thankfully it does.  I just purchased another asset this morning.  Showed up a-ok in the older DIM.  Why wouldn't it work? It would really only not work if the protocols on how files are received would change.  Why would users always be forced to the latest version?  Unless Daz is going to guarantee compatibility with all OS versions, it's in their best interest to provide a reasonable range of prior versions.

Have you meant.. the older version of DIM works without any problem on macOS Mojave right? If so I wonder do you have the copy of this version?

Regardless, I'm afraid. no one else may give you a copy if you don't have one

    Please. Thanks you so much!

Did you understand what was said.  No one can supply you with a copy of an older version.  The only people who can legally distribute Daz 3d itemems are Daz 3d

Most all companies have the same policy due to license agreements.  The agreement is between you and the company.  There are companies though (usually with paid software) where a person is allowed to transfer a license to another individual.

Regarding the DIM software, it's also about copyright (literally the right to copy).  About the only time a copy is allowed is by the individual for backup purposes.

Having said that, I personally keep copies of all installers for software and back them up.  I also keep not only the latest version, but at least one and sometimes two prior versions.  I've been burned too many times over the years by companies yanking older software and assuming the latest version is the only version you'd ever need.

The 1.2.0.6 version is confirmed to have fixed the issues on my install of Mojave -- and it appears that in the process we got a free speed boost on the application's performance.

  • Can I just confirm that Daz Studio 64 and 32bit are working under Mojave? - I'm currently working heavily with the lipsync feature in the 32 bit version, so I don't want to kill that workflow off if its no longer supported.

  • Is this problem ever fixed? I've got the same problem right now.. cant open the program
