Product Suggestions to make a character POOF
Halloween is coming and I wanted to have a little creepy fun. I was thinking about doing a spoof of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and wondered if anyone had some across any products that would reasonably represent the dust explosion that happens when she stakes a Vamp. I looked and saw some smoke products but I'm not sure they would function in the scene correctly. Or maybe I'm wrong. Has anyone tripped across anything in their travels through Daz?

This sound like a post process you'd have to deal with in a program like After Effects. There are a lot of stock footage houses who may have a dust effect like this....maybe Rampant?
