Apply Spawned Dformer morphs to Other Figures

After spawning a Dformer morph, I see it in parameters under the current figure. But when I load a new figure of the same type, the dial is gone. How do I get the spawned morph to apply to other figures?

Select the spawned morph in the Morphs section of the Parameters pane, and Save As/Support Asset/Morph Asset.

    Set it to 0(zero) first.

  • Thank you barbult- that was exactly what I was looking for. Do you know how to remove it once it's saved? I can't seem to find where in the content directory it was saved to.

It is saved in the Data folder of the Content Library you selected in the Save As dialog. Within the data folder, I believe you will find it the subfolder where the morphs for the original character (that you added the morph to) are stored. Way down in that hierarchy you will find a folder with the Vendor name you entered in the Save As dialog. In there you will find a folder with the Product name that you entered in the Save As dialog. For example, if I save a new morph for the G8M character Harrison, and enter my user name as vendor, and Harrison as the product name, I will find it in the data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Male\Morphs\barbult\Harrison folder. The morph in that folder will be [your-morph-name].dsf. Delete that file and restart Daz Studio to verify that your saved morph no longer shows up for the character. (You need to restart Daz Studio after deleting your morph, because it might still remember the previously loaded morph until you restart Daz Studio.)

The Data folder is a critical folder for proper operation of Daz Studio. Take care when deleting things from it.
