Whats the best shader to use for rubber motorcycle tires?

Just the normal Uber shader and play with the gloss, specular and diffuse. I use that for all tires, but even Daz's default shader for plastic works perfect for them. Tires have a kind-of dark bluish tint, not pure black, with a dark grey shine, not white and no true mirror-reflection to the shine unless they are oily or wet. (They use a mixture of carbon and indigo to dye the rubber.)
Honestly though, for a tire, you need a UV-mapped texture. There is too much micro-detail that no-one would ever put into the 3D object, which the textures and associated bumps and normals need to supply, in addition to the shaders values. There are too many variables. Old, New, Dry-rotted, Dirty, Muddy, Armoralled, Whitewall, Lettering, Treads, Dimples, Roughed-up...
