Blurry image in Iray view

Daz World,
I'm pretty new to the software. I have an issue in which I open a new page and all I do is I load the character and scene, that's it....but when I switch to Iray view I get this horrable quality image. Not to be rude but please don't talk about cameras, lights, DOF's etc. I tried all that and doesn't work. I reinstalled the Daz client and all the raspiratories but problem doesn't go away. Again, it's been like this since I installed it, no change in setting done by me. I am thinking about some start-up misconfiguration but I have no idea what it is. All I know is I shoud be getting a lot better picture then this. At least guys from tutorials do. By the way, I must have touched something and now getting this window in the middle of the view, how in the world do I get rid of this?
Please see attachment.
Please bring it down to idiot proof level, I am new to all this.
Thanks

Check your IRAY settings for anything out of default values. Also, try the advanced tab in IRAY.
Just hit the "Defaults" button at the top, for each tab, where you select the rendering engine.
I can't see the image, so I can't see what window you are getting in the middle of the view... Is it a "Pane" (Window-pane) found in the [Window]->[Panes (Tabs)]... It may just be floating and need to be docked or hidden.
If you changed something for "Start-up", it should be in...
MENU: [Edit]->[Preferences]-> TAB: {Startup} -> (Load file... )
While you are there, you can double-check the {Interface} TAB. (There is a button to restore defaults at the bottom.)
If you made any custom "Styles", "Workspaces" or "Viewports", etc... You could reset those too. MENU: [Window]->(Styles/Workspaces/Viewports)
Uninstalling and reinstalling will not restore the default settings. It remembers your settings, in the event that you DO need to reinstall, so you don't have to redo everything again. (Well, it remembers most things...)
If the problem still exists, there is a tiny chance that your 3D settings for your video card may be an issue. (Updated drivers or just some CUDA setting or 3D quality setting? Assuming that you have an NVIDIA card and are not using CPU to render the IRAY preview. If you have an NVIDIA card with CUDA cores, your settings should be AUTO for PhysX and ALL for CUDA processing. There should be a "Restore" setting there too, in your display drivers page.)
Windows did recently release a "fixed" version of the wonky WDDM drivers, due to multiple complaints from everyone. Version 2.4, in multiple updates since April {Jokingly called the fools update}. This has also forced all cards to require a new update too. (So, if you have not updated your drivers recently, start there first.) Not to mention, there is a follow-up coming in a few days... Version 2.5, which may require another forced driver update for everyone.
Thanks for your help JD_Mortal. By reseting to factory setting I got rid of that unwanted frame. I dont have NVIDIA. I have Intel Xeon with integrated GPU. Is NVIDIA requirement ? I didn't see it on requirement list. I guess my question is: Is it possible to get a good image in iray view using CPU? I know it takes longer time and not recommended but still is it possible to get a clear iray-view image using CPU? Or is there a other type of render I can use ?
Again, thanks for a quick reply.
CPU or GPU shouldn't make a difference in render quality in DS4.10 (Untill a few months ago, my render system used a 2GB GTX 680, which meant almost every scene I rendered was done CPU only, Now I have a 6GB 1060 - didn't notice a quality difference, but obviously the scenes that 'fit' on the GPU render faster)
Now the upcoming DS4,11 release has a new option; Post Denoiser. AFAIK, that functions requires the GPU, so that will not be available on CPU only renders (including scenes that don't fit in VRAM )
