  • I believe it is meant to install the application and possibly starter essentials on first run for new accounts (it doesn't do it for me, fortunately). I do appreciate that, especially a systems incrasingly have smaller SSD C: drives and a larger mechanical D: drive for data, that this behaviour is not desirable for veryone and woudl suggest that you open a Technical Support ticket to politely request a review of the behaviour (perhaps it couls ask which drive to use at least), assuming it is doing what it is meant to do in the first place. In the emantime, you can batch seelct everythign in the isntalled tab and click the process queue to clear the lot out, then click the gear icon at top-right to open preferences and in the isntallation tab set the application folder (Program Files equivalent, not specific to DS) at the top then add the content location you wish to use, and set it as the Curent directory, in the main section of the dialogue. Note that if you use non-default directories you will also have to set them in DS itself, most simply by download this script and dragging the fiel into an open Daz Studio Viewport http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/file_io/install_manager_config_import/start
