A tip before buying "hairs" in the store?

Hi!

I have already realized that the hair rendering time can vary immensely depending on the complexity of the model. Is there any information I can check in the store to find out in advance if hair requires too much or too little processing power to be rendered? A keyword or something?

Note: I am in search of hair that is simple and stylized (like those of the toon generations), but I did not find many options in the DAZ store...

fiber mesh has more geometry than "regular" hair, but regular hair can be more heavy on the textures.

Be aware of the problems you can have when autofitting longer hair to other generations, you would likely lose the bones. Non-Iray hair should be converted to iray before rendering, there are special shaders for that in the store, to melp with realism. A general word of warning about older hair - it was constructed with 3Delight in mind, and sometimes appears very thin on render in Iray.
