    Played with the material settings to make the prop partially transparent and luminous, placing it within an appropriate setting.

    Thank you, both!  I reasoned there should be a way to enhance this seasonally appropriate goodie.

    Maybe it's old knowledge for a lot of GB fans, but I just recently learned that Slimer (or "Onion Head" as the production crew called the puppet/costume) was meant as a "nod" to John Belushi's character "Bluto" from "Animal House".  The notion being that since Belushi could not be with the leads in person, he could at least be there "in spirit", pun very much intended in this case.
