Genesis 8 Female Wrist Rotation Limit Confusion X Axis

I'm hoping to overcome a deal breaking limitation in the Genesis 8 female base. I'm using Victoria 8, but i believe this is the same for the base G8 female.

I've noticed that the wrist rotation on the X axis is limited to a very narrow range. You can rotate it a distance of about half an inch (in real world). IRL any human can rotate their wrist much more so that they can move from palm down to palm down to almost palm up.

When I turn off the limit and turn the wrist, the mesh gets twisted and broken at the wrist.

Am I missing something here that you can help with?

Rotation for the hand is mostly done from the forearm bone.

As jestmart says, we generally can't rotate our hands  -try using the left hand to grip the right forearm, so the long bones can't move, and then try to rotate the right hand.
