How can I make it invisible at once?

I have a question. A very novice simple one. To be honest, I'm quite embarrassed to ask though.

I wonder how I can make a figure invisible including his hair and cloth AT ONCE (001.jpg).

At least I know I can make a figure invisible by clicking the eye icon in Scene Tab.

However, that doesn't affect the child objects attached to the figure such as hair and cloth (002.jpg).

I'd like to make the entire figure invisible at once including the child objects.

How can I achieve that?

    1. Select the items you want to hide in the Scene tab.
    2. Under Parameters, open the options menu and make sure Consolidate Properties is On.
    3. In Parameters, under Display, find Scene view and turn Off the Visible in Viewport option.

Thank you very much for your quick reply, Cris.

Though, at first, it didn't work, it worked after I unticked "Display Separate Items" in Parameter option.

Gosh, this display on/off setting will save me loads of time.

    I really appreciate your help!

Glad it worked and thanks for the feedback. I think I had that already check marked.

You could also put your figure or figures in a group (create/new group) and then toggle the visibility icon for the group in the scene pane.
