The Genesis Supersuit in Poser

For anyone interested in knowing if the Genesis Supersuit could be converted to .duf and imported into Poser, or wondered how it would look, here is an example of the suit, in Poser, on Freak 5.

PLEASE POST HOW YOU DID THIS, PLEASE... Oops sorry I got excited LOL
I don't have the link handy right now, but I took my time and followed the conversion guide. Once you get the process down, it's not so bad, but it takes a lot of time and patience with the Supersuit because there are so many individual pieces to convert.
If I find time, I'll give more details later.
Cool.Great work!
conversion guide.? what and where is that?

The Supersuit used the old DAZ format, .dsf files. The new DSON file format is the one that can be used with Poser. So first you have to convert the Supersuit to .duf format. Once you do that, you can create Poser Companion Files (PCF), which allow you to load the suit into Poser directly from the Poser library. PCF are just Poser compatible scripts to load the .duf files. You can find details on the conversion procedures at the link below:

I saw some of this before and I found a video on this as well. At least one is about DSON format and the other CR2
CR2 Exporter:

Create Dson companion files with Daz Studio 4.6 /poser Pro 2014

This video is more music and text narration, VOLUME IS LOUD, FYI
Yet it goes to the point of the link you sent me,
Just found this one a minute ago, I like this one:

The CR2 Exporter was the old workaround way to get limited use of Genesis in Poser until they were able to work with Smith Micro and develop the DSON format and the DSON Importer plugin for Poser. The CR2 Exporter is outdated now, unless one is using an old version of Poser that can't use the DSON Importer.
This plugin works with DSON:

I am hoping based on what the videos states, I will be able to load and add the SuperSuits.
I will post my results
You still need the DSON Importer, and you still have to convert the Supersuit files to DSON format first, and honestly, those are the hardest part of the process. So I don't quite understand what major benefit you think this is giving you?

I saw the video, I hope you did as well. I was impressed on how the program loaded the content into Poser. I may not know this program as well as you, it didn't look like I might have an issue. Am I missing something, you never gave me the rest of the information so I can compare the differences. From where I am and what little I know the benefits are big. And it uses the DSON importer to do so. Does your way seem better, I don't know, you didn't finish telling me what it was
I gave you the link to "my way" as you put it in my PM to you. It's just the procedure that DAZ explains on how to convert the old DAZ format to the new one. There's nothing wrong with doing it this way you're talking about in the video. My only point is that it really doesn't save that much work. Because you still have to convert the Supersuit to DSON first before you can use the plugin. The only thing the plugin does, I think, is save you from the last step, which is to make the Poser Companion Files.
The reason the Supersuit doesn't work in Poser is because it's not in DSON format, and that plugin still needs DSON format to work. So you still must do the conversion to DSON first. I'm just not sure if you're understanding that part?
I dont think I do. I dont program for that platform sorry. As I stated to me the process seemed simple. I will have to look at what you gave me. I just want help on this, if I knew we wouldn't be going back and forth would we?
Yes, and I'm trying to help you as much as I can. But I gave you that link via PM for a reason. So that you could begin to understand what's involved. I can't help you understand the process when you don't even start by looking at the info that's already available. I didn't make up the process to get the Supersuit into Poser, I just figured out how to follow the instructions DAZ gave. I do think the instructions could be clearer, but They do work. But unfortunately, as I said more than once already, the Supersuit has to be converted to DSON first, and there are a lot of files to convert.
I have been playing with this for a few days now, I am some what familiar on how to convert the suit's. I font want them all now just as needed. Hear is what I got from the video, how the clothing attached to the people. I am unable to do that part for some reason. Other than that I font have a problem. Thank you for your replies, one of us is really a nite owl huh?
I still like the program Shaderworks it has potential. I need to learn Poser better, I spent more time learning other programs.
Poser offers too much not know it better. My new issue is when I merge into C4D all the materials are not showing up, need to locate and point to the folder''s
Here is what I have sofar, this image to others might be a easy fix. Anyone has a suggestion on how to fiz what you see please comment.
One of the options that installs with the DSON Importer is a script to Transfer ActiveMorphs from Genesis to the clothing. Have you tried that yet?
I also seem to get better results by dragging the suit from the library, holding the cursor over Genesis, and letting go so that it Auto-conforms.
Transfer ActiveMorphs from Genesis to the clothing. No I wasnt aware of that , I am still learning Poser. I need to see hw that works, once I figure out where it is, lol
And the drag function is one of the ways I use to add clothes when clicking wont work.
Again thank you so much for your help, I am getting so many options
EVERYTHING WE HAD BEEN TALKING ABOUT, JUST THROW IT OUT THE WINDOW!!!!
Poser, etc. There is a program that exports Daz 3D stuff via OBJ (characters too!!) It does exactly what I want
EXACTLY!!!! and imports animations files as well.... Riptide Pro. Here is the link that sold me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUtybeshOQU
And here is the proof of what it does, no fuse, etc I am done!!! (It does what it says.....)
Nothing we've discussed needs to be "thrown out". You found a method that serves your needs, which is awesome, but it wouldn't serve my reds or many others. Great that you found a way that might help others with needs similar to yours, though.
I was being sarcastic.....
I live for knowledge, nothing is a waste of time, its but a journey we cross sooner or later
...nothing is a waste of time, its but a journey we cross sooner or later
Very true!
Pardon my interruption, where did you get this Riptide Pro?
The only reference I can find is at: https://skinprops.com/riptidepro.php
And it seems to be for Cinema 4D and not DS or Poser?
Thanks for any info;)
Ignorance is my shield of steel!
This is where you find your answers, the person who created the program. The link you have
