    Hi Trish,

Really like this render. Did you use the trees from the Nature-Trees Pack 1 by Andrey Pestryakov? If so, how long did it take to render?

Trish: Thanks...no they are from here.... http://www.daz3d.com/pred-pack-alder-trees all of these trees are very nice I use them a lot but they are quite detailed so the render time was about 3hrs.....

really 3 hours - looks good but 3 hours

go get a electric heater - $28 - safe around pets and ( people ) - .30 per hours to use
work great for single room - that's what I used when my heat pump went

bigh: I know right ...3hrs it must have been the trees...of course I was rendering and watched two movies...on the computer its my TV also....I don't know...I hate waiting...I got heat.. its just this house... was built in 1845...no insulation...that's the problem...oh it will burn some electric that's for sure....Are you only going to do one render for the Bryce contest??? I haven't even thought of one yet but we still have to the end of Feb. Where is that story...man I tell you some people ...they tell you part of a story ...get you all into it and then make you wait......

Great stuff, Trish! I really like the tiger, and your self-portrait, especially the mono version.

Your question about the eyes...you can't change them one at a time, but some characters come with heterochromia presets (where the eyes are two different colors). Stolz does (I think that's who you are using, right?) and Axel International M5...those are the two I know of. Click on the mat preset and it will set the color of both eyes...typically the same color for each, unless the PA has created some options in which they are different colors.

My house was build during the 1960s but I don't think it has insulation in the walls, floors or in the attic. I did not know that your house is old. wow. Thanks for sharing.
