Hmmm... did I babble too much? Should be anything difficult in there... just the size thing. Truth be told, you could do that in DS too, but I was taught to do it in Carrara first, and it works perfectly.

no its not you its me....I learned on Bryce.... only just in the last 5 months have been learning Darkside (Studio) only played with Carrara a handful of times...you know how it is... you get use to one program... or at least I do and my mind just goes somewhere else.....LOL... no worries...though.....David Brinnen is on the case so maybe it will work.......Trish

Thanks Jade....you are still my #1 geeky person.....

Yeah, Jade rocks! So does David Brinnen... been a while since I've chatted with him!

I know exactly what you mean - with exception to Darkside. I even did a search and came up with all manner of things with a dark side! LOL

Carrara is actually a very easy to learn modeler, if you already know how to model in standard modelers, like Hexagon. Bryce is (or seems to me to be) rather unique - which I why I'd still love to take the time to figure it out.

Okay... I did babble too much.

When I mentioned that I model around a figure, that's one of my favorite things about modeling in Carrara, but it's not at all necessary. It has real world measurements so you can just go in and make a model and export it, if you like.

Still, for Poser/DS models, I think that it pays to scale to 1.042 (as easy as entering that number into the only white box there) in Carrara prior to exporting, since I know that number so well! LOL

That number is what is used on clothing models - when you make clothes in Carrara for Poser/DS figures. So if it works that specifically for clothes, it works really well for everything.

Anyways, you totally know how to get in touch with me if you ever need anything. The route you took is perfect. I hope this goes really well for you. I'll help in any way that I can.

The wizard robe even fits on to Kory...had to get rid of the buttons on the front though and do a slight touch up in one place.....

LOL!! I know what you both mean. I learned in one PRG which was neither of your Prg's. Things work diff in them all an they all have different defaults. And that is a rub for stuff like this.

And Trish, its NERD. Geeks have life's and know stuff. I just know some stuff.

If you clck on the Brushes at top of the screen, a menue will open up. You'll find a little arrow in the upper right hand corner next to Master Diameter. Click on that and it will open a drop-down menu. Scroll down that menu until you hit Load Brushes.

WOW....maybe I will hit lotto....and be able to do that....that sure would be cool...

Ok guys David said it is a no go on my horse jumping prop models being brought into Studio...because I used Bryce primitives with Booleans....he suggested Wings 3d so yet another program to play with and try to not get confused in.......like I don't get messed up enough going from Bryce to Darkside...maybe it will be simple......yeah right.....LOL...anyway if you use Bryce they are on share cg under bullit35744
