Is there a way to have Daz auto pause the render after 120 seconds? I still want to be able to resume it later.

Sure, if this is an Iray render, just set the Max Time to 120. You will find Max Time in the Progressive Rendering section of the Editor tab of the Render Settings pane. When you render the scene, it will stop after 120 seconds. To resume it, click the little arrowhead on the left side of the render window to expand that area. The click Progressive Rendering and change Max Time to a bigger value. That will enable a Resume button on the render window. Click Resume to continue. If you want to save the 120 second render before resuming, go to the file menu and select Save Last Render (not Save Last Draw). Give it a filename and save. Then resume.
