Gift Card Code NOT WORKING

Another non-working gift card. It says wrong gift card code. Anyone else go for that wonderful special, only to NOT be able to use it? Get this fixed please- it says valid till today, zero balance. I just bought it of course.

    Okay, note- when you enter the code, it may flag red and say at the top that it is an invalid code, and the textbox will go blank again. When you go to select payment method, it will show up as an option. Gotta love this. But see if that happens to you, and don't assume it didn't go through.

    The Gift Card Code needs to be redeemed. Go to My Account>More>Gift Card. Enter the code, click on Redeem Gift Card button. You will see a message the code has been successfully redeemed.

    Once it's redeemed to your account, it shows up as Store Credit payment option on the Check Out screen where you indicate your payment info.

    You can check the balance at any time by going to My Account>More>Store Credit.

    I usually click on the code I get in email... Does that not work for you? Then it fills it automatically into the place where it should on the site. Presuming you are logged in.

    Good point, that is definitely the way to redeem the gift card code... I use a text based email client and it wasn't so obvious to me the URL had been there all along.. LOL Will definitely use your suggestion next time. Thanks for mentioning that. I loaded up this buying round so I should be set till the end of the year I hope..!

    Cool! yeah, sometimes my android browser doesn't work quite the way my computer does so it might not be apparent.

    Yeah, I knew that- I had to activate it as I had already said that folks need to continue to the next page and it would show up within the payment section. :) But to answer the other question, no, it did not autofill. I wish the cart would stop posting warnings in red and saying a code is invalid if it is going to be on the NEXT page.

    oh I see what you're talking about now.... The shopping cart has a box to "add gift card" at the bottom. Next time I'll try that method of redeeming the code. In your original post, I thought you were trying to enter the gift card code in the Coupon box... LOL

    Thank you for the information. I had a store credit and didn't know how to use it. This thread helped a lot.
