Daz studio tabs

I am on IMac 2017 with MacOS 10.13.6 and i would like to know how to make the render window smaller and not have a tab window,

I have never seen this happen before on any macs or windows computers, I am using Daz Studio 4.10 Pro.,

I'm not sure what you mean - the Viewport? That has been a tabbed pane for a few versions now, you can't hide the tab but you should be able to adjust the size of the pane groups to make it smaller or you can turn it into a floating pane, on its own or as part of a group, if you like.

You can manually move the dividers between the tabs on either side fo the viewport and change their size.
