Make lights shine / Turn them on?
Hi, I'm trying to get a few pictures for a school project. I'm not really trying to go in depth with the program just yet so does anyone mind explaining how to turn lights on?
I bought an apartment pack which contains lights. I've looked at quite a few light tutorials but I still can't figure out how to make the already existing lights glow.

Are you rndering in 3Delight or Iray? For 3Delight you can make the lights seem to glow by seetting the Ambient Color to a lighter tone, matching the way the light shoudl look, and setting the Ambient Strength to 100% (or at least, a higher value). For Iray go to the Presets tab with the light surface still selected and find the Emissive preset (type Emissive in the filter box, or look under Shader presets>Iray in the category list), then adjust the Emission Colour and Luminosity Settings in the Editor tab (changing sahders changes the options available).
