Hi. I'm cliftn44 and I have always wanted to be an animator since I first saw bugs bunny beating up poor old elmer fudd. I don't have a head for school but find I learn things pretty readily hands on. I was trying to teach myself Cinema 4D and Blender when I stumbled upon daz about a month ago. Figured this could be the start of a beautiful friendship.

    Welcome! While DS does have animation tools, from what I gather on the forums, most of the serious animators tend to work in other, more high end apps such as Maya, C4D and even Blender. Daz is best know for it's 3D figures more than the posing/animation app it offers and unfortunately they tend to work best in the app they are rigged for, Daz Studio.
