How do I turn a primative plane into a DForce plane?

How do I turn a primative plane into a DForce plane? I created a primative plane in DS and now trying to make it into a DForce plane so I can simulate it as a simple blanket.

Maybe this would be of help?

Edited :- to add that at the bottom of this section is a note about an interactive lesson which will walk you through the process.
Step 1: In order for dForce to work convincingly on a generated primitive Plane, the Plane must be of sufficient subdivisions, and should further be Triangulated once generated.
Step 2: Create>New Primitive> Plane and set the segments to 128 at least. Select the Plane.
Step 3: Edit>Object>Geometry>Triangulate>Yes.
Step 4: Edit>Object>Geometry>Add dForce Dynamic Surface Modifier
In the Surfaces pane, in the Simulation section way at the bottom, set the Density to 9000 or more (anything less and it's a bit stuff for a blanket, unless you want one of those Dollar Store recycled plastic bottle blankets, or a heavy canvas tarp) . Set the Collision Offset to 0.40. Set Self-Collision to Off. You may also want to set the Friction higher.
Raise the blanket above whetver's going to be under it, and run the Simulation.
Scene considerations:
For a figure sitting on the floor or otherwise cozied-up and not laying down, and you want the blanket to bunch up around them, angle the plane towards the figure, so one edge will contact first. 45 degrees may be a bit steep to start with, but it depends on the scene.
For a figure sitting in a chair and you want the blanket to surround the figure and not overhanging the chair, but you want a lot of excess blanket bunched up around the figure (Queen-Sized blanket like Grandma used to make in a single-occupancy wingback chair by the fireplace), you will want to stick a cylinder primitive in the path of the blanket and in the center of it to make it curve on the way down, until the edges are on a trajectory which puts them inside the boundaries of the arms of the chair, and then have that cylinder move out of the way. I suggest making it move straight down to avoid shifting the trajectory of the blanket due to Friction.
