cartoon shader
Looking for a way to use hairy skin on Jason and not loose the cartoon skin shader.
When I have no actor open, a blank stage, I can find a skin shader preset called "dzToonSkin" under Actors, Wardrobe, & Props -> Surfaces (color) -> Presets -> Shaders -> Skin. However, if I load any character (even Jason), this option vanishes.
If i change Jason's skin I can use the shader called cartoon in the render menu, but it does not 'cartoonify" the new skin. It only renders the objects that came with the Jason Character. (see example render). I have spent hours in the surface tool area looking for this, but i don't think it is there. Before I bought the Jason character there was no cartoon option in the render menu. So I think limited version came with the character.
Can anyone help me find this shader and apply it to the new skin? Do I have to buy it to open it up to use it in this manner? If so, which shader program do I need? Before I bought the Jaosn character there was no
(Oddly, this happened by accident the first time I changed the skin. It rendered in toon style with hair. But then I crashed and i can not get it to do again. ...on purpose.)
Thanks.

I found it. It's under content library -> Daz Studio Formats -> My Daz Library -> Shader Presets -> DS defaults -> dzToonSkin.
I was able to apply it to the actor and make it render. ALthough the hair gets kind of lost, but I can work on it now that I know where it is.
Sorry to answer my own question. :-)
It's great when someone answers their own question, shows that they are learning their way.
It just goes to prove the theory that all the information and knowledge is stored in the "Submit Post" button.
You type out a long involved post, click on the "Sunbmit Post"` the post appears in the forum, and Bingo you suddenly know the answer.
