DOF dont work with 3D Delight Renders

I tried to do a 3D Delight Render using DOF on the Camera -but when the render was done
there was no Depht of field in the image. Is this common?

It does work, so it may be a few things giving the efefct of it not doing so.

First, and most obvious, thing is be sure the camera you are using for the render has DoF enabled.

Use either anotehr camera (or perspective view) ro lookat your scene 'side one' and with youe camera with DoF selected in scene tab go to the Camera tabe/pane and (after double-checkign DoD is on!) set the Display> Scene View> DOF Plane Color steeing to something that will stand out (I tend to use red).  Then, under Camera settings adjust the Focal Distance setting which will move the point of focus back and forward (and as a side-efefct also adjust teh front nad back DOF planes).  The actual point of focus will show as a little set of red, green and blue arrows.  Once you have that in position change your attention to the F/Stop setting and adjust that - smaller values tighten the focus - making things outside the front and back planes more blurred, and vice-versa..

Swap back to the camera you'll be using for rendering and have a go ...

I use DOF all the time with IRay renders with great results, so i am familiar with all the settings-But now with
this #D Delight render - nothing

I have used DoF with 3Delight many times and not had an issue. Pretty sure I have done so with latest (non-beta) version of DS, but I'll givbe it a try and see ....
