Maybe you can try open DIM find them in installed area, and click on the arrow menu for re-install...

  • Which product is that? There are some in Lightwave format, which DS won't open at all.

I believe you have to look in your Poser library/props or possibly figures.

Tried it, didn't help. Same empty folder.

    Yes, it is, apparently, lightwave.

No, nothing in props, poser or daz. Only dystopia i found is in main foder, like on screenshot i posted earlier. I did file search, it is only folder with such name that exist.

Ok then you need to find the poser versions, as Richard said those will not work in DS unfortunately.

  • Strange ... Why did they sell them in Daz store then? If it didn't work in daz studio?

IIRC the product page says they are for lightwave. You can ask for a refund within 30 days from purchase. The ones you want are in poser format (pp2).

Well i got it for free so it is not money issue. But i want to use it. And poser variant dont exist anymore. Google seach result send me here https://www.daz3d.com/dystopia-city-blocks-001-010-poser and it 404.

  • You could try importing the LWO file into Blender, export as OBJ, and import that into DS, then apply maps.

Daz sells quite a few products products not intended for DS, products for Bryce or Carrara for example.

These products are from before there was a Daz Studio.

Dystopia works, as I remembered, in my DS without issue frown I also downloaded it for free 1st time I downloaded DS...it includes a Poser format that works in DS.

I've also citybloks 11-20 and works.

So uninstall it through DIM and try to download/install again.

There is no .lwo un import menu.

I manage to export it, but textures didnt load it daz, building is white. Open3dmod says they are exported too

    From log: ... E:\daz3d\stuff\Dystopia\Textures\Rooftop-Bump.jpg -> e:\daz3d\stuff\Dystopia\CityBlocks\1\textures\Rooftop-Bump5_.jpg

You have poser version. It is not available anymore... Only lwo version.

  • DAZ studio rarely loads textures from obj even it's own exports you just have to manually add them all

the only times it ever does is if the obj is in the same folder as the textures but even then it depends on the mtl file

other softwares I have seem to have no trouble finding paths

The assemblies that create larger collections of buildings use geometry swapping. At the time these buildings came out, DS did not support it so only individual building props worked. Has this changed?

_ yeah,    Use older Blender 2.49b ( download on Blender website) _ and will require Python 2.6.2
