I saw this very cool image by Shozai on the thinkdrawart.com contest site incorporating my Desolate Desert Arches.

It's true, context is everything.  Let's hope she's offering protection with it..

  • I also saw this image Dragon'sCove by emotionaloutlet at thinkdrawart.com set on the SecludedShoreline.  What do dragons do in the their spare time,  catch crabs of course.  It's a very lyrical inventive image.

Two sightings on the same day.  Both in the Daz Gallery.   First there's " Nothing to be afraid of"  by MDO2010

Great sense of atmosphere and foreboding,  there is trepidation in the aire tonight as you Walk Across Water towards the old windmill

Second,  is Spring Thaw by RicoMariani also in the Daz Gallery.

It's been a long winter,  but the longer days have been melting the snows,  and the ice again turns liquid,  and the waterfall  begins to flows along the Two Creeks. A lone wolf sniff the air, searching for sustenance.

Spotted the new "Girl" at the Last Chance Gas Station today,  what I really like is the whole tropical sunshine feel of the shot with the palm trees in the background.

Wow some real cool renders!   Thanks all.  I have to say Fishtale,  it's the first time I think  I've seen the breaking Waves rendered from underneath.  Cool idea.  I'm going to have to try that out.  And Jack, very creative mixing the steppes with the creeks,  really upped the ruggedness of the terrain.  It's like discovering a whole new location!  And Peter, getting to see the sets used in sequential art is always a blast. And yours looks like there's some good story telling in there.

Thank you all for taking the time to post these.

Thanks for the encouragement. I did a Daz search for your name, using the "My Products" add-on, and was suprised at how much of your stuff I've used in my webcomic. Thank you. Keep them coming and I'll keep buying!

  • I really love the two creeks set.

I saw this image titled Breaking Loose by dcbaker73 in the Daz Gallery today,  of three characters trying to survive the sprawling sense of chas surrounding them.  Very cinematic use of the Divided Highway.  Could easily be a screen capture from a video game.  See it full size in the gallery  http://www.daz3d.com/gallery/#images/110672

Saw this image by Escobar87 in the Daz Gallery called Stand Guard,  using the Scifi Blast Bunker.  Still trying to figure out where's the armor from which looks particularly good.  I do like how the cameras slanted on this.  Gives it a dynamic feel.

The armour or at least some of it might be from this set

  • First Bastion you should check out the E-on Software's Picture of the Day (March 26, 2016)!  Pretty sure it is your Gallerie Bastion used in the image!  I'm not sure I can include the link in the forum but it is in the Showcase section.

Thanks for the heads up.  You are right emotionaloutlet, that is definitely Gallerie Bastion.  Look at the size of that Mammoth!

    Hi FirstBastion,

both Armor sets are heavily kitbashed from various sources ( DarkEdge, Dzfire, mestophales, uzilite, luthbel and some more ), with completely customized textures by me.

Well done assembly on the armors,  and the texturing tied them together.  Good job.

Haven't done a sighting in a while,  but I saw this series of images by Fred98 on the Daz Forums  and liked the camping tent  scene set against the Secluded Shoreline environment,  particularly the addition of the footprints in the sand textures,  gives a good sense of realism  .

I used Lost in a Labyrinth for this:

Its from way back when I first started learning this stuff but still, not too bad I hope.
