Hey, thanks to the folks who posted suggestions for "bodice ripper" book covers. My project was received with satisfaction, and I will be receiving a hard print copy with my cover on it! Whahoo!

And, I have a second request for another! It's amazing!

    Greetings,
Excellent; congratulations! And for what it's worth, a bodice-ripper piece I was exploring, inspired by your questions, ended up discovering some hard-crashing nastiness in D|S 4.6 beta, which evidently are fixed by a 3Delight library upgrade.

Must provide links, so we can see the results of the hard work, please.

I'm so excited and pleased. I did do a back cover a while ago, but this is the front, and I'm so happy to have been able to participate.

here's the book on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Coyote-Della-Van-Hise/dp/0976689782/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1379028668&sr=1-3

I'm awaiting instructions on the next book. What I particularly like about this is that it is a collaboration, not only between the author and me, but also of all the artists whose works we use.

I've been learning more about this form of illustration, and it is quite interesting. I have much to learn about rendering details. I used 358dpi resolution in DAZ Studio 3 in the jpeg format requested, and the print image looks good at that. The cover requirements are set by the publisher, and that is useful to know how to work. 9surprising how large 6inches by 9inches is in one's hands!
