Did you check the notes on the stroe page

    Notes

This product requires 3DS Max or compatible program that imports .3DS format.

We have reported this, however you may want to file a help request to return the product and get a refund.   You have 30 days in whcih to do that.

  • Thank you. How you do it? can I replace it with another product?

  • You can open a Sales Support ticket and ask for a refund https://www.daz3d.com/help/help-contact-us

I am asked to tell you to file the sales support ticket and then you will receive a refund and can then get the version that you should purchase,  which is this one     https://www.daz3d.com/sr8-supercar

  • Yes, I like it, but do I have to pay the difference? I sent the ticket ... it's the first time I ask for a refund, I hope I've done everything correctly ...

If exactly this product is needed then it can be imported in Blender and exported as OBJ (or DAE) to DAZ.

  • I have never used 3D programs and I expect on daz to find only products for DAZ

Or, as hs been explained by Daz CS, it can be returned and the purchaser can then purchase the correct version, which works directly in both DS and Poser.

No,  in the Daz 3d store you will find products for all the daz programs, which are Bryce, Carrara, Daz Studio and hexagon.    Remember Daz is the name of the company    Daz Studio (aka DS) is their flagship program. There are also other programs for sale for which Daz is a re-seller, such as FilterForge. PD Howler, Pegasus modeller and others

You will also find products which work with non Daz programs such as the one you fell foul of this time by no fault of your own. That store page has now been amended,  there is still a considerable volume of Poser only products in the store,  as well as products which will work in Photoshop (brushes etc).  You do need to take care to check the compatibility of products before you buy them.

  • Indeed. I bought many Ron's brushes for photoshop. Those were understood to be brushes. But 3D products can make mistakes to buy them if they do not work in daz. it's the only 3D program I use.

If you have any problems with the refund,  just shout, we are here to help you.   I am not certain what you mean by the difference in price as, by being a PC+ member,  for me the correct version is actually cheaper than the other version.

  • Thank you. You're very kind. To me the correct version costs 10 $ more ... How long does it take to refund? How can I return the product?

If you filed the ticket you should then get an automatic response.  Once they refund then they expect you to remove the product from your computer and they will remove it from your product library.  Normally a refund is very quick, but becaue we are in the middle of a major sale, and because tomorrow is the weekend, you may not receive it till early next week.

This is the part of the sales page you need to double check  to make sure that what you are buying is compatible.  You will see this section, under the   Purchase button

    SKU:13367

    Artist:   Cute3D

Compatible Figures:   Victoria 4, Michael 4, Aiko 4, The Girl 4, Hiro 4

    Compatible Software:   Poser

Which tells you which figure(s) it is for and which software it will work in.

  •  I opened daz DIM and I removed the product. I would like to replace it with the original, but it is not on offer ...

I missed this post before,  sorry.   you said   "If someone is able to convert it to daz3d I would be happy."     please be aware that would not be possible ... doing so would violate the EULA which doesn't allow for any derivative versions of Daz 3d products to be re-distributed.  You could do it yourself, for personal use,  but no one can do it for you.

  • Yes, it's true. I replied to the above comment from Handel

  • I can not use Blender. However there is the original you sent me. If it is possible I could replace it with that and the problem is solved
