Earlier that day, the sister elf warriors had been out for a relaxing walk, unaware of the perils lurking in their enchanted forest...
I didn't PLAN on using everything from my first render in the second one, but I kind-of had to. It's an "earlier that day" prequel, so it isn't like they'd be wearing different clothes or have different hair... okay, well ONE of them has different hair... and a different head... but you get the idea. And yes, I DID render this in Vue, which is part of the reason it took so darn long to get done. Vue 11 does not speak to Poser Pro 2014. I had to pay Content Paradise the $1.68 extended download service to get Poser Pro 2012 for my new PC, simply so I could get the Poser stuff into Vue. Well, it worked, in any event, so I'll quit whining now.
Oh, and sorry about the awful puns in my image titles. It cannot be helped. I've finally gone over to the Bald Wizard's Dark Side...

Well, at least the ossuary fits the shrunken head/skeletal remains theme. It should be entertaining. I think this time, I'll model something in Mudbox as my "new software with each render" self-challenge... Now, what to do with the library...?
I am reusing Muck from the first pull. He is too colorful to ignore! I decided to try to stick with the story line of Muck and Mavka for as long as the drawn items permit. That's extra fun. Composed and rendered in DS 4.6.0.18. Brightness, contrast, detail post work in Photoshop.

When I drew these three things I didn't know what they were. Turns out all three are clothing textures. The Wenceslas outfit and Dragon Slayers kind of drove the theme of this image. As he turned for one brief moment to reassure a frightened Mavka, the dragon swooped in and snatched the king right off his horse! Uh Oh! The king's men will not look favorably upon Muck now. And so his trouble begins...

Yeah, but I knew a couple who had a pit bull. They left the room and the pit bull attacked their child, a three month old baby. This after the Mother had already miscarried her first one. Such a sad story. That pit bull should have been in the line up! Of course, things did not go well for the couple as they ended up charged for negligence.

If you can't tell, the story is going backwards. I generally don't like stories like that, but I did enjoy it on one tv show-- The Good Guys. Particularly the one that started with the two of them in a bank saying "This is a hold up!" or some such. They were cops. It was an under-appreciated show.

Your honeymooners remind me of a couple I'm good friends with. They had the worst luck right after they got married. At any given point for the first year, either she or her father was in the hospital or laid up with something. Nothing quite so dramatic as a dragon attack, but it started with her breaking her foot a couple weeks after the wedding and just went downhill from there. And actually, we did a video of her hubby to be defending her from a dragon pinata right after they got engaged... And his favorite color is green.... hmmm.... ;D Hopefully your couple ends up well. Though I'm curious why he was behind bars :D

Well, we don't know yet. I have two more renders to figure that out. I guess it will depend on what I draw! Letting the king get swiped by a dragon sets him up for some trouble, though, don't you think? Unless, of course, he was an unpopular king. We'll have to see what the gods of random have in store for poor Muck. I haven't done my next draw yet.

Hmmm... I just realized that my story doesn't really go backwards in time. It just starts with the conclusion and then jumps back to the beginning. Like the order is 5 1 2 3 4. I guess that's OK.
