anyone know when Reality 3 for Daz studio 4 is coming out?

    ummm no its called Reality 3 like I said.

    Reality is a plugin developed by Preta 3D. Luxus is a plugin developed by Spheric Labs. They are two different plugins, but both allow you to use the Luxus Render engine via DAZ Studio. Each plugin works differently and has a different UI. I haven't used either of the plugins so I can't say I have a preference for either. I've heard good things about both. I do know that Luxus works with the latest version of DAZ Studio 4.6. I can't say whether or not Reality works with DAZ Studio 4.6. We no longer sell Reality in our store.

    The official Reality forum is over at RDNA - in the Reality for DAZ Studio subforum you will find a thread about the development for Reality 3 for Studio :) Paolo is working hard on the Studio version but I don't know when it will be released. Best is to read the thread over there.

    I didn't see a way to reach out to Spheric Labs directly for this question-does anyone know if Luxus works on 4.5 Pro, like in the product screenshots, or is it only supported on 4.6, as stated under the 'Additional Information' section?

    Luxus works in 4.5

    Thanks-when I searched the forum for 'luxus' this was one of the first threads that came up.

    Paolo has said their will be an upgrade discount but I don't know if that means buy Reality 2 now and get Reality 3 same price you would if you bought R2 outright and then upgraded to R3. The development is fairly complete from what he's said but no concrete date
